Hi Judy See your message re Benjamin Waters wine hooper. We have been researching waters families in Bristol. We have built up a tree and wonder if your Benajmin is connected to our family. Do you know his parents? We have a Joseph Waters accountant/clerk born 1789 who married Elizabeth Moody. We have always thought his father was a John Waters 1762 who married Sarah Jefferies and there is a baptism for a Joseph Jefferies Waters around the right time but other info has led us to beleive that maybe this is the wrong family. Just wondering if you knew any more regarding your Benjamins background. David & Debbie Waters

Hi Debbie, The surnames WATERS and ILES suggested Bitton, GLS to me so to satisfy my curiosity I had a look for their marriage. Sure enough I found it in Bitton. I expect you already have this marriage, but other WATERS researchers may be interested. Thomas WATERS, coal miner, and Rachel ILES, spinster, were married, by banns, on 5th. February 1759 at Bitton. Both were of the parish. Josephine --
