Hi Listers, I have been contacted, off-list, by someone who is researching the STONE family of Bitton. I have found the following information in the B & A FHS baptism and marriage resources. www.bafhs.org.uk William STONE, bachelor, and Dinah FRY, spinster, were married, by banns, on 28th. July 1811 at Bitton, Gloucestershire. Both were of the parish. James, Joseph and Samuel STONE were baptized on 12th. March 1826 at Oldland, Gloucestershire. Parents were William and Dinah STONE. Abode was Cock Road and father's occupation was coal miner. A possible burial for Dinah STONE could be that of Dinah STONE, aged 67, who was buried on 18th. October 1857 at Holy Trinity Church, Kingswood, Gloucestershire. Abode was Potters Wood.
