Hi Listers, There's a booklet of 40 pages in my collection, which I have not mentioned before. It's The Story of Old Bristol by E. M. Hapgood. This illustrated booklet about Bristol, as it was in early times, includes information about Monasteries, Hospitals and Almshouses, Inns, Guilds, 13th century Merchants and the Great Charter, Overseas Colonisation and 18th and 19th Bristolle. The front cover shows a sketch of Bristol with buildings on the old Bristol Bridge and Bristol Castle on the right of the view. The back cover has a map showing how the old city looked c.1645.
