Death Certificate: Mary Pocock, nee Rees was 78 years old when she died on 28 Dec 1878, at Kingswood Hill, Oldland, Keynsham. Her certificate confirmed that she was the widow of George Pocock, school master and that she died of cancer exhaustion, as certified by Henry Grace MRCS. The informant was her son Henry Pocock of 13 Upper Park Street, Clifton, Bristol. Mary Pocock's death date was 28.12.1878 age 77, as on the gravestone. This made me think. WG Grace the cricketer was a doctor so I looked him up. His father was Henry Mills Grace ( I THINK also a doctor) and his mother was Martha Pocock... So I presume WG may be a cousin to your family/the family you are tracing?
