    3. I believe that they were no-conformist Methodist. My sister and I were also brought up Methodist. I spent years and years looking for Mary Anne Charles b. 1844 m.c to a Herman Nullmeyer. I found it this year in Dublin Ireland. Herman was a seaman and a second generation German born in Liverpool, his father all so Herman was born in Breman Germany 1815 he married a Harriet Cockran b. 1811 Liverpool. I think there is a strong possibility that our Evans families are linked. Rhoda's parents were William and Joannah, but until I find Rhoda's b.c. I will never know her pedigree. 3. I note that I had written that my friends Robert Evans and his future wife, Mary Ann Tucker were both living at 12 Hotwell road in the 1851 census. that wasnt correct, they were living there in 1852 at the time of their marraige. I was hoping to find them there in the 1851 census to see if any other Evans family were also there You had a bit of a puzzle to sort out there and did a good job finding your couple in Ireland Lynne. 3. Hi Edie, You may like to know that the house numbering on Hotwell Road was updated in modern times, so today's No.12 is not where your people lived in 1852. I have created a Google map that shows where No. 32 was in 1871, which was the Rising Sun pub, here: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid=200775276854179164633.0004537f14f0826 b88ab0&msa=0 My gg grandfather, John Gould, was the licensee there in 1871. Best wishes, Mike Gould Leicestershire -----Original Message----- From: bristol_and_somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:bristol_and_somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Edie Sent: 01 December 2013 10:51 To: bristol_and_somerset@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [B&S] Robert Evans, mariner and Mary Ann Tucker I note that I had written that my friends Robert Evans and his future wife, Mary Ann Tucker were both living at 12 Hotwell road in the 1851 census. that wasnt correct, they were living there in 1852 at the time of their marraige.
