    3. Good morning Bristol & Somerset, I am confused by the number of Rootsweb type Lists which appear to contain the wood "Bristol" I could even offer to host one, but it seems to be almost moribund. Have I been here before five years' ago? Thank you. I am attempting to link my Tetbury Warn(e)s with the WARNEs in the parishes east of Bristol, namely Hanham, Oldland and one other whose name escapes me. My earliest WARNE at Tetbury was buried in a Quaker Burial in GLS. So, I will have to wend my weary way to the TNA and/or the Friends' Library in Euston Road to try to link these WARNIES as I call those WARN and WARNE peeps. Only about 7 generations to go back <g> Phil

Hi Phil, Yes, you were here in 2009. Welcome back! :-) > My earliest WARNE at Tetbury was buried in a Quaker Burial in GLS. When I go through Tetbury, I often think of you and your research there. Some of my ancestors came from nearby Rodmarton, between Tetbury and Cirencester. By the way, we're not moribund on the B & S. :-) There is still quite a bit going on here with already 219 list messages this month! JJ

I had to try to remember which was the most popular Bristol List, so joined all 4. Have you the same two List mums as before. One ran a hotel in south Cornwall, where the Scillonian sails from/to? Tries to get brain to work! Ton find appropriate Cornish parish name. I had to Google Scillonian! Penzance, that's it Phil

Hi Phil, Glad to see that you don't think that the B & S is "moribund". :-) > I had to try to remember which was the most popular Bristol List, > so joined all 4. You and any other new list members can look in the rootsweb archives to see how much traffic is on the lists you have joined: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ > Have you the same two List mums as before. We don't have any List mums here. :-) JJ
