Hello Listers The 1901 Census for Charles William Downing of Harvey’s House, Town Lane, Summerhill Road, St. George appears to indicate that it is a childrens’ home since there is a huge list of young occupants.  Does anyone have any information about this please.  I can only read the transcript on Ancestry as the entry starts at the bottom of the page on the original and it is not possible to turn over to the next page to seek clues as it is page 30 of 30.
