    3. Hi Listers, On 11th. February 2009, I responded to a B & S thread on the OKELY family and gave the information that John OKELY, tobacco pipe maker, was made a Bristol Burgess on 9th. March 1768 through his marriage to Elizabeth JENKINS, daughter of Bristol Burgess,Thomas JENKINS. Five years later, I have received an off-list query about Thomas JENKINS so I am sending further information to the list in case anyone can make a link either now or in the future. Thomas JENKINS, tobacco pipe maker, was made a Bristol Burgess on 26th. April 1733. His qualification to become a Bristol Burgess was through his marriage to Elizabeth, daughter of cooper, Thomas ANDREWS, who was a Bristol Burgess. Joseph JENKINS, tobacco pipe maker was made a Bristol Burgess on 9th. March 1768. His qualification to become a Bristol Burgess was because his father, Thomas JENKINS, tobacco pipe maker, was a Bristol Burgess.
