    3. Hi Lynne, The City of Bristol Workhouse was at Stapleton, not to be confused with Eastville Workhouse, which served the Barton Regis area. Although little by way of records has survived, an exception is some Creed Registers. These record admission and discharge dates, with the religious denomination of the inmates. But before I get your hopes up, I'm not sure whether they go back to the period you need. I've extracted information from the 1890's, but you could check with the Bristol Record Office (mailto:bro@bristol.gov.uk) which dates are covered. As far as I can see, they are not listed in the On-line Catalogue. If you manage to find out the dates covered by the surviving Creed Registers, can I ask that you post the information to the list, as I'm sure many would find the information useful. Best wishes, Mike Gould Leicestershire -----Original Message----- From: bristol_and_somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:bristol_and_somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Lynne Charles Sent: 22 October 2010 19:48 To: bristol_and_somerset@rootsweb.com Subject: [B&S] Help please Bristol Workhouse Hi Can anyone please give me further info on this lady.
