Hi Chris, The mention of Kilmersdon caught my eye, so I've checked the fiche for this marriage and the banns: Banns entry 206: 07, 21 and 28 Jun 1801 Samuel LOVEL sojourner Elizabeth PLOMER of this parish Marriage entry 204: 06 Jul 1801, after banns Samuel LOVEL sojourner Elizabeth PLUMMER of this parish Witnesses: Jeremiah PORTER Wm ABRAHAM Yvonne Scrivener Canberra ACT Australia -----Original Message----- From: bristol_and_somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:bristol_and_somerset-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Chris Jefferies Thanks very much for the info. It is obviously very tempting to say that this is the marriage but with no specific info about her birth location in a census it will have to be the "Probable" marriage. I was assuming "sojoiner" was meant to be "sojourner", a temporary resident rather than something to do with woodworking.
