    3. Further to my last email - I've just noticed that immediately above Elizabeth LOVELL on the 1851 census is a Susan TANNER who also gives her place of birth as Kilmiston. She's aged 49 - born in 1802 and married to a George TANNER On the Bristol & Avon CD of marriages I found 18th March 1822 at Holy Trinity Stapleton George TANNER to Susannah LOVEL What do you think? 3. Chris, I haven't found a christening for Susan or Susannah LOVELL at Kilmersdon so I tried under PLUMMER to see if she was actually born before Elizabeth's marriage but that drew blank as well. Then I looked at the Bristol parishes and found that a Susan LOVELL was christened at Mangotsfield 29th June 1806 the d/o Samuel & Elizabeth. I see this is the same date as a Lucy LOVELL so I assume that these are the two children you mentioned in your original message. In the transcript Susan is listed before Lucy which does suggest that she might be the elder child. Have you had any further thoughts about this?
