HI  Everyone, I have quite a large Spragg family living in Bristol. Henry Spragg was born in 1839, he married Eliza Mary Ann (sometimes called Margaret) Leeson. They lived at the house in the rear of 6 Stoney Hill, St Augustine Bristol. On one of the Census  he is shown as born in St Johns Middlesex while on the others is says Bristol.  On the 1881 he is shown as born in Bristol St John and his wife St Michaels, could the Middlesex be a transcribing error as I have no connection to Middlsex. many thanks Skoula

I think you meant 1829 rather than 1839 as the approximate birth year of Henry Charles SPRAGG is 1829 on the 1881 census. Here's a likely match for his baptism: Henry Charles SPRAGG, son of George and Susannah, was baptized on 16th. March 1828 at St. Augustine, Bristol. Abode was Pipe Lane and father's occupation was glazier. (The parish of St. Augustine is not far from that of St. John.)
