    1. Re: [B&S] Problem with Bristol Parish Records on Family Search
    2. Kathleen Craine
    3. I have taken "advantage" of the incorrect place name to isolate the newest added records for my family. In FamilySearch I did an Advanced Search, using the exact place name "Abbots Leigh (Holy Trinity), Somersetshire, England", and my surnames of interest. These are most probably the newest additions to the Bristol database, and therefore I don't have to search through all of the records that I found since my last search of the Bristol records. I discovered several new events, and confirmed several others. Of course, I know the _place_ is most probably incorrect, but at least I have the events, names & dates. Kathleen Craine Chicago Researching: SNARY and SPRATT in Bristol ----- Original Message ----- I have reported the problem to Family Search where many of the latest 300,000 Bristol Parish records added last week as part of the Indexing Project have the parish incorrectly set to Abbots Leigh.
