Thank you for the link to the timeline, Josephine. I was amused to see that the name of the page was 'bathtime' which could bring in a surprise audience! The idea is a good one, to do the timeline of a town. I think it could be expanded - for example, three members of my Bath RIDOUT family died splap bang doody in the years between the Parade Bridge being built and a cholera epidemic. One could imagine that bringing in other people to add knowledge from their family history could give an even sharper focus at certain points.
