Hello Listers Josephine has reminded me that I did, in fact, resolve to do two things. One was to write in narrative form the information that I have already acquired regarding the various branches of my family. The second intention is to write about what I am doing (only the interesting bits) for the benefit of any of my descendants who might be interested. A friend of mine has detailed diaries kept by her mother which give a real insight into the life she led. I do wish that some of my ancestors had done the same. What we do now and the way we live may seem ordinary to us, but I wonder how it will be viewed in 50 years or so. I am telling you this in the hope that it will spur me on to make a start. So far this year I have written nothing! I will begin tomorrow! - Famous last words. Regards Millie
