Dear List I would be very grateful if someone could please give me the lowdown (if there is one) on using old postcards? I 'publish' a family history newsletter every month, which I send to my cousins and I also have a new blog and website on which I would occasionally like to use these old images. It's easy with a book - you can write and ask the publisher, but what do you do with postcards? At what point are these freely useable, if ever?
