I have just recieved a copy of a will and it states that something was left to the children of a deceased person (my 4 x great grandmother) however the children's names are wrong!!! does this mean that the children wouldnt have got anything at all? Sandra

I take it that this is not the Will of your 4 x great grandmother but one of another relation in which her descendants are mentioned. What ages were the children? - could the money have been put into a trust for them with the trustees being named. How many children were involved? Were their surnames mentioned or was it the just the first names which do not match your research? Last resort - Have you got the right will?!
