Looking at the B & A FHS Bristol Diocese Baptismal Registers Vols 1 to 7 Index & Transcripts 1813-1837, I see that Abigail TOWNSEND, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah, was 7 months at the time of her baptism at Oldland. The abode was Grimsbury, but now the father's occupation was carpenter instead of wheelwright as it had been at the baptisms of Esther and Hannah, in 1815, and David, in 1818. I see, though, that the father's occupation was again wheelwright at the baptism of Mary in 1824. -- Josephine Jeremiah www.ianandjo.dsl.pipex.com
