Good news, Pat! And thanks again to Chris Jefferies for bringing this site to our attention. I've just found the marriage of my 2x great-grandfather's half sister and I've never even looked for that before. Mary DOWN and George MICHAEL were married on 27th. September 1873 at Clifton. The groom's father was George MICHAEL and the bride's father was Robert DOWN. All I had in my notes for Mary DOWN was her birth registration in Clifton in the September quarter of 1847 and 1861 and 1871 census information for her when she was living with her mother, Harriet DOWN. Now I'll be able to look for her details in later censuses and I'll check the 1851 census as I don't appear to have written down the information on that.
