I couldn't find baptisms for any children of either of the men named Fortunatus HAGLEY in the Bristol Baptisms 1754-1812. When the younger Fortunatus was made a Bristol Burgess, his qualification to become one wasn't because his father was a Bristol Burgess, but because he had married the daughter of a Bristol Burgess. Perhaps the elder Fortunatus wasn't his father. Josephine -- Josephine Jeremiah www.ianandjo.dsl.pipex.com
