    1. [B&D] WDYTYA Live

    3. I made my annual trip to the WDYTYA Live fair at Olympia the other weekend and have to say I was a little disappointed this year. It seemed smaller than in previous years and there were fewer FHSs stands than before. There were also some other stands missing. There were also some complaints about people not being allowed in because "it was full", yet, looking down from the gallery, there was more carpet visible than in previous years. Perhaps there had been complaints that it had been too crowded in previous years. That said, it was still a good fair and worth visiting. I bought a number of books and CDs as well as a couple of subscriptions whilst there. It gave me something to read/peruse on the 3-hour journey back home <G> It's possible next year's WDYTYA Live fair may (and I stress this is only *may*) be the last one at Olympia. The reason being the Earls Court group, of which Olympia is a part, has been bought with a view to demolishing the venue and redeveloping it. Whether the same fate awaits Olympia itself is not clear at the moment. If the show does move, then it could well go to the NEC, Birmingham, although there is a possible alternative venue in London: the ExCel in East London. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Greinton and Clutton, SOM Asst OPC for Ashcott and Shapwick, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk
