    3. Hi Tony She says Leslie is her son. If Edith was his mother she would have only been about 14 when Leslie was born. In those days I feel a 14 year old girl would have been extremely immature to be having an affair with someone, they were still playing with dolls! Mary filled in the form and declared that Leslie was her child. As for May Lydia - her birth is there and she is visiting an uncle and aunt. She was born in Bath like the other children in this family. I was told she was a member of Walter and Mary by other members of the family. I see your point though. I also know that the person who gave me the information had another error!! Yet another reason for checking the research of other people!! If only these people had been born after 1911:-) Another of the aunts was called Lydia - her husband died in 1907 but they lived in London. Did she return to the West Country? I can't find her at the moment - of course by 1911 she could well have married again. Oh, don't they give us stress!! Thanks for giving me more food for thought.
