I know that my gg grandfather Thomas LONG was a Freemason - he had insignia on his business card - but I have just found the details of the funeral of one of his sons in law (Benjamin GAY died in 1885) who was described as a Past Master of the Moira Lodge in Bristol. Thomas LONG died in 1896 and attended Benjamin's funeral. Does anyone know whether there are records of Bristol Freemasons of this period available in Bristol? Thomas LONG was in business in Bristol between 1840-1880 so I'm looking for Lodges which were open at that time. Thanks Pat
