Hi Roy, Yes, the originals will be in the Bristol Record Office. http://archives.bristol-city.gov.uk/. Being a curious soul, I took a look at a CD of Gloucestershire Baptisms obtainable from the Glos FHS http://www.gfhs.org.uk/ on which I saw that a William and Sarah FORD had several children christened at Cromhall between 1814 and 1822. William was a carpenter. I found a marriage of a William FORD of Cromhall with a Sarah BAKER which took place at Thornbury 20 June 1811. A William FORD was buried aged 27 at Cromhall 20 Oct 1822. These last two were also from CDs obtainable from the Glos FHS. The Isaac KEELING in Yate in 1851 who married the widow Sarah FORD states that he was born in Poynton, Cheshire. So he has done a bit of straying! Mind you, in 1861 he says he was born in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, So anything's possible. Good Luck! Pat, Once again, many thanks for all the information - that will keep me busy for a while. Also, a visit to Bristol must be entered on the calendar for when the weather will be warmer! My 70 year old bones do not like the cold. Best wishes Roy -----Original Message----- From: bristol_and_district-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:bristol_and_district-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Pat Hase Sent: 02 April 2010 15:52 To: bristol_and_district@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [B&D] Isaac Keeling Hi Roy, Yes, the originals will be in the Bristol Record Office. http://archives.bristol-city.gov.uk/.
