I am trying to locate the birth details for Jane King Tipping who was born in Bristol on March 3rd 1817. I am also trying to find details of the marriage of her parents -- John Tipping and Grace Brayley (or King) This wedding probably took place between 1813 and 1817. I've had a look at the BAFHS CDs and can find no entry for the baptism of Jane King TIPPING nor for the marriage of her parents. However, the IGI has an extracted entry which says Jane was baptised on 8 Sept 1822 in Matlock, Derbyshire, which is somewhat outside the area covered by this list. You may find someone on the Derbysgen list can help you further. Where did the information that Jane was born/baptised in Bristol come from? I'd suggest checking www.freereg.org.uk to see if John TIPPING's marriage has been transcribed yet or not.
