Thomas LONG was in business in Bristol between > 1840-1880 so I'm looking for Lodges which were open at that time. If you don't get any joy from the link Edna gave, try contacting Grand Lodge in London. I've not contacted them myself, despite having Freemasons in my family, but I gatgher they can be very helpful. Sons often followed their fathers into a Lodge but not always. Some Freemasons belonged to more than one Lodge as well. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Greinton and Clutton, SOM Asst OPC for Ashcott and Shapwick, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk
