Hello Evelyn Don't know if you are aware the MARTIN family are farmers at Almondsbury, Gloucestershire which is just north of the city of Bristol in the 1881 census. Your Robert Osborne Martin (23) and wife Eulalie (24) nee Robertson are living with Eulalie's 10 year old younger sister next door to Robert's parents at Rookery Farm, Almondsbury. Robert is a farmer of 25 acres and his father is a farmer of 80 acres. Robert's younger brother John Osborne Martin (21) a farmer's son is still at home with his father John (46) and wife Mary Martin (44). She was born in Kegworth, Leicestershire. Both Robert and his father John Martin were born at Chew Magna in the county of Somerset which is just south of the city of Bristol. Robert Martin married Eulalie Robertson in the June quarter of 1879 in the Barton Regis registration district of Bristol. There is a Frederick Martin born in the March quarter of 1885 and a Charles Martin born in the December quarter of 1886 both in the Barton Regis registration district. I am sorry but I don't know anything about the family in 1911 or when they emigrated to Canada from South Wales. Hope this helps. Bernice in Bristol
