Hi Charani Yes - it was a useful bit of publicity for this weekend's celebrations of the completion of the restoration project at the cemetery. If anyone lives locally, today would be a good day to visit and enjoy the events taking place - including tours and singing in the Anglican chapel this afternoon (details on www.arnosvale.org.uk) ... or on Sunday afternoon when there a service with more singing. I am ambivalent about the new increased charges which have been announced for record searches, although I understand the need for the Trust to raise money to support the cemetery. If any 'lister' decides to pay up for a search and gets a positive result, I would be very happy to volunteer to help them locate the grave - or even find it myself, photograph it and email the result - just email me the plot number, names and known dates off list.
