    1. [B&D] Sale at Footnote for USA research
    2. the cohens
    3. For those on budgets wanting to track down Bristollian rellies who went to the United States, there is a great sale now at http://footnote.com, but be forewarned you will need to be able to run the most current free version of Adobe Flash, which is available for most but not all systems. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about Full subscriptions are temporarily available at half the normal price for a whole year, but they do not say when the sale ends from what I could find. This is a really great deal for what one gets if need city directories, naturalization records for areas covered or 1930 census. They have many more databases, but these are the ones I personally find to be most valuable in my research. Their city directory collections are fantastic, relatively full runs from usually the mid 1800's into the early 1920's. But check out what databases they have before you sign up, not all big cities are covered. http://www.footnote.com/documents/_2/ The same is true for naturalization records. They have great coverage, but only for certain states. http://www.footnote.com/documents/_24/ Of course, if you want to see the results in all collections, you can always do a global database search from their home page. They take an asterisk * as a wild card: http://www.footnote.com/ Enjoy!
