For those on budgets wanting to track down Bristollian rellies who went to the United States, there is a great sale now at http://footnote.com, but be forewarned you will need to be able to run the most current free version of Adobe Flash, which is available for most but not all systems. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about Full subscriptions are temporarily available at half the normal price for a whole year, but they do not say when the sale ends from what I could find. This is a really great deal for what one gets if need city directories, naturalization records for areas covered or 1930 census. They have many more databases, but these are the ones I personally find to be most valuable in my research. Their city directory collections are fantastic, relatively full runs from usually the mid 1800's into the early 1920's.
