He's either an Accountant specialising in bankruptcy (bakrupy), or he's a bankrupt accountant. Either way it's quite a change from a linen draper. I doubt there's any way of knowing what happened to him between the two censuses I haven't found the family in 1861 but MAGGS is an easy name to misread and mistranscribe although I have tried looking for Jenefred but she doesn't show up either. It could mean they are on a page that happens to be missing. There are more pages and complete pieces missing from the 1861 than any other census. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton and Greinton, SOM Asst OPC for Ashcott and Shapwick, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk
