Dear all, I am truly grateful to the folk who transcribed the PR records that appear on the B&A FHS CDs. [ As I have said before, that broke down a 20 year old wall. ] Now, can any one please help me find my 5th great GM? She married Charles SNELL in Dyrham on 30th October 1769. He was born and baptised in Dyrham in 1733, son of William and Elizabeth (née WEST). So, whence haileth Sarah? Phil, I just looked at the marriage of Charles and Sarah on the B&AFHS CDs and see that she came from Walcot in Somerset. A few months later an Elizabeth Morford married a John West in Dyhram, also from Walcot (sisters?). My CDs don't cover Somerset and the Gloucs ones stop at 1754 which will be after Sarah's birth. A quick Google found this http://www.familydeeds.org/ST23.php You will see the parents of Elizabeth Morford named in this and Sarah and Charles mentioned; could be worth following up.
