Hi Pat That could well be them their daughter Elizabeth who married Joseph Tucker died before 1838 but in 1841 Joseph and Betty and Joseph Birt's Grandchildren are living in Lambeth. Looks as though I shall be purchasing a couple of certificates. Have looked at 1841 Census again and found an a Elizabeth Birt aged 50 a Schoolmistress living in Short Street Lambeth and living in the same house is an Elizabeth Tucker born 1824( right age for her granddaughter) but both are shown as born in County so I had discounted them.
