    3. Hi Tony I don't really see inconsistencies there. Betty, Betsey, Elizabeth and Eliza were definitely all interchangeable at that stage...and even today. My mother was Ena Elizabeth but her death certificate said Betty and we are only talking 2005! As for "Dealer" - I would think a Commercial Traveller could still be considered a dealer...he was after all dealing. I imagine Commercial Traveller was a fairly new job title. When Elizabeth/Betty's husband died in Lambeth she would naturally move into the home of a member of her family. Good luck.
