    3. It was good to meet everyone at the Bunfight. We thought the meal was excellent, too. Many thanks for arranging it, Liz. It proved a relaxing end to our family history trip, as earlier in the week, the day after we arrived at my 4GGF's Cornish farm, there was a murder in the village! We never dunnit - honest! Our B&B host in Pensford surprised us by saying he knew descendants of my Stanton Drew COX family. By the way, does anyone know which Maria (b about 1808, Pensford), married George DANDO (b about 1801, High Littleton)? Maria, a widow of 83 is staying with her nephew, Edwin William COX,at Box Bush, Stanton Drew, in 1891, and I'd like to find out how the DANDO and COX families are linked. Kind regards Joy

    3. Hi Joy, I was sorry to miss the Bunfight again this year. Sounds like you had a great time. With regard to your DANDO/COX problem, I would search at FreeREG to find a sister to Maria of Maria marrying a COX. Alternatively, with the designation 'nephew' being one of those vague ones, it might be the son or daughter of Maria's sister with the surname COX. The only way to find out is to expand the family. Hope this is helpful. Regards, Nancy Frey Newcastle, Ontario, CANADA OPC for Ansford & Castle Cary, Somerset Moderator of Yahoo! Catsash Hundred Group Moderator of Yahoo!
