As many of you know, I went to the US last Sept - Nov and had a great time meeting up with several members of our list as well as friends and cousins and, of course, visiting the National Women's Hall of Fame for the induction ceremony of my ancestor. So, before I get too long in the tooth, I thought I would take the long trip down under and meet up with various cousins and friends and to see where my granddaughter's ancestors lived. 3 years ago I went to Canada and 20 of us met up for a bunfight at Merrickville which was absolutely great. Is there any chance of meeting up with any of you while I am in Oz? I am planning to leave England around 7th October, spending a week in the Emirates with friends to recover and then going on to Perth. After spending about 10 days in the Western area, I am going across to Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and then up the Eastern coast of Queensland to visit a 3rd and an 8th cousin that I've been in touch with for years. I've just found that they live only 20 minutes apart which is great. Do any of you live near any of the areas I am visiting - I would hate to be at the bottom of your road and not stop to say 'hi'. Here are some of the locations I am planning to visit. I will leave Oz around 27th November for another week in the Emirates. Rockingham (fellow researcher) Mandurah (previous guest to Cornwall) Peregian Beach (3rd cousin) Mooloolaba, QLD, (8th cousin) Ingle Farm (cousin's cousin) Melbourne (granddaughter's 4x2 cousin) I had relations who lived in Lansvale NSW - WHITE ex Bristol. I know my father's cousin lived there but I am sure he's dead now. Liz www.btinternet.com/~e.newbery OPC for Street, Somerset
