    3. Just be careful to check what you have written before you Submit - the only way to make a correction afterwards is to add another Postem. I have been using Postems in my transcribing work - noting the register and the spelling of the name in the register where it differs from that in FreeBMD. See Marriage of Mary CHUCKEY, Mar qtr 1838, in Wincanton. Yvonne Scrivener Canberra ACT Australia The Postems on FreeBMD can be used by clicking on the red Info button at the end of an entry. That will open a new page which will allow you to make a correction, add a Postem or view an image if there's one available. Go down to the paragraph about Postems and click where it says. That will take you to another new page which has a box into which you can add your note or cert details. You have a limited space in which to add the details but it's usually enough.
