    3. Good evening every one, Has any one else got members of the FRY surname in their tree(s)? Has any one researched the greater FRY family? I ask as I have a few (small?) FRY in my tree. [ Yes, this is a fishing trip. ] I believe that the (chocolate) FRY family may well originate from places like Sutton Benger, Wil. There are clearly both Quaker and philanthropic links. My FRY lot come from the Chippenham RD area and link into the VINES family. [ Fruit & nut connections? (confections?) ] I am sure that there are more than "five boys" linked. [ Who can list the five expressions? ] I am not sure about Turkish Delights or the five-flavoured Chocolate Cream bar or even Crunchie.. Ah, nostalgia! Things ain't what they used to be! Phil Boycott Polish "Fry's" chocolate
