All I wanted, Dear Listers, was to find out on Ancestry.co.uk about the family of this chap. If I could write a scream, I would. I cannot access anything, but am continually badgered about a 'Free trial.'I've already been relieved of the cost of my membership. Help!! And what is the most effective way of complaining, please? Sorry, Charani, but I'm madder than a really mad thing. Kind regards Joy

Hello Joy, No help with Ancestry but - your John BEACHAM - any ideas where he was born? Husband's 4 x great grandmother was an Elizabeth BEACHUM born about 1754 from Winscombe - too early to be directly connected. I have BEACHAMS from Congresbury & Wick St Lawrence in Axbridge Workhouse - Harriet BEACHAM d/o George & Elizabeth was christened in Congresbury in 1814. In 1851 there is a John BEACHAM in Bristol who was born in Chew Magna in about 1817 I've got a christening of what looks like this John BEACHAM 19th Oct 1817 at Chew Magna s/o Peter & Hester Any good?
