Hi Listers I'm trying to see if James HINAM/HYNAM could be mine. I have a list of the seven children he and the former Miss SAGE produced in Chew Magna between 1838 and 1857. I have just bought a copy of: "THE INHABITANTS OF BRISTOL IN 1696" This includes names gathered in 1694 fot taxing burials, births, marriages , bachelors of 25 years of age and upwards and childless widowers to raise money to finance the war against France. It became known as "The Marriage Act". It is arranged according to parishes and includes the names of children. Hi Lawrence Why do you need to buy then when you can search the contents so much easier online. Either on the Ancestry website if you have access, or on the FamilySearch pilot search website (go to the normal FamilySearch website and chose the Pilot Search from the drop down menus under "Searches"). Much easier than swopping CDs and trying to find a Viewer which still works on your O/S....
