    3. Good evening every one, Has any one else got members of the FRY surname in their tree(s)? Has any one researched the greater FRY family? I ask as I have a few (small?) FRY in my tree. [ Yes, this is a fishing trip. ] I believe that the (chocolate) FRY family may well originate from places like Sutton Benger, Wil. There are clearly both Quaker and philanthropic links. My FRY lot come from the Chippenham RD area and link into the VINES family. [ Fruit & nut connections? (confections?) ] I am sure that there are more than "five boys" linked. [ Who can list the five expressions? ] I am not sure about Turkish Delights or the five-flavoured Chocolate Cream bar or even Crunchie.. Ah, nostalgia! Things ain't what they used to be! It had been done by a contact of mine and when he did a search for the marriage he selected the next person in the list with the same name by mistake. That will open a new page which will allow you to make a correction, add a Postem or view an image if there's one available. Go down to the paragraph about Postems and click where it says. That will take you to another new page which has a box into which you can add your note or cert details. You have a limited space in which to add the details but it's usually enough. I add baptismal informtion as well. This can be useful where a sibling is missing from the GRO index. His/her details can be added to another sibling whose registration is in the index. Likewise, I've added the baptismal details to a child who was born in Cornwall but was baptised in Kent.
