I am in contact with Perry Brisbin on occasion and believe that he is a subscriber. Whether he wants closer contact is a decision he would have to make. But think I am safe in passing along his stated intent to, early next year, publish an update of the book. I'm certainly looking forward to it. Perry has provided me with some great information on my ancestors, when the prospects of finding them seemed bleakest. Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention - now all one has to do is find a copy of the limited press run! For those who have not tried it out but have Brisbins in Illinois and Wisconsin, suggest typing BRISBIN in the surname slot of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), General Land Office (GLO) site for the Eastern States. Quite a few Brisbin land patents there for some folks. don in laos - a generation away from being surnamed Brisbin
