He had 2 sons John Brisbin Jr and son Samuel Brisbin (1784 - 1850) Samuel married Catherine Mytinger (1793 - 1874) in 1814. They had eleven children. Two of the children, Jacob Mytinger Brisbin (1818 - 1886) and George Mytinger Brisbin (1826 - 1908). Jacob married Sarah Anderson (Doyle). A daughter of this union, Catherine Brisbin (1861 - 1948) married Robert H. Marshall (1862 - 1954). A son from this marriage Jacob Brisbin Marshall is my maternal grandfather.
