    3. Hi, after reading your e-mail today, I read back over the handwritten notes by Mrs. Felton. Next to Stephen's name, she sort of added in "son of Adam (RS). However, after re-reading further, she has: Brinson, Adam, born 6/10/1751, NC, son of Adam and Sarah, married Mary Sheppard, dau of Benjamin. It has that she was born 9/6/1760 and died 3/3/1820 and married 1/25/1780. Then it goes on to list their children, one being Stephen who married Nancy Stringer. Like I said in my original message, I don't know if any of her notes have been documented. If you like, I'll send copies of what she wrote and see what you can figure out. There are a lot of contridictions. My husbands line is: John Brinson m. Elizabeth d. 1737 Adam m. Sarah Sterling b. 1700, d. 1769 Adam Jr. m. Mary Sheppard b. 6/10/1751 d. 11/23/1825 Adam m. Elizabeth Perkins b. 8/12/1787 d. 5/18/1854 Jason m. Jamima b. 1/25/1814 d. 10/6/1849 Jason m. Lucinda b. 4/1845 d. ?? Jennie m. Allen Grimes b. 5/1882 d ca 1921 Jenney Bessie Grimes m. James Danford Bragg and are the parents of my husband. She was b. 6/24/1905 d. 4/17/1983 I have documented back to Jason being the son of Jason. But not the first Jason being the son of Adam. However, there is a cemetery in Jenkins co, GA that lists 4 or 5 graves. Jason and his wife and Adam and his wife are 4 of them. therefore, I am assuming they are father and son. I also have made copied of 1900 soundex for Brinsons in the Screven, Jenkins and Burke Co but haven't entered them in the computer as yet. I have "Brothers Keeper". I have a lot of photos of headstones from the above areas and am try to use my census records and document dates of birth and death to whoever. Sometimes I get sooooo confused. Think I'll switch back and work on my own family. Any help, additions, deletions, corrections or whatever, will be appreciated. thx, Joann ==== BRINSON Mailing List ==== Support RootsWeb!
