In a message dated 97-10-14 03:58:25 EDT, you write: << over-lapping. So the person's details, if they don't fit on one page will be printed on the next in whole. Otherwise it means cutting the details with scissors. Even if I select no overlap I still get a blank gap when printing which has to be cut, which is the margin. All it say's in the help file is this Family Tree Maker version 4.0 for Windows 95 Overlap pages If you want information on the edge of one page to be repeated on the edge of the next page so that it's easier to tape pages together, select this check box. On the web page it gives a toll free # but not from England , we have to pay :-( I don't mind the lines over-lapping but not the info on 2 pages which have to be cut & joined together. Has anyone solved this problem. I can't find any help in the manual. Cheers. David >> David - I see on the FTM page that they are offering a way to print large trees. I haven't checked that out. Do you get the FTM page up front when you go online from FTM? When I want to tape a tree together, I usually have to cut at least one side to make it fit right. The other feature (non overlapping) is for the Book version, that can be contained in the book as individual pages.
