Deborah, Enoch Brinson was the son of James J. Brinson (b. abt 1770) and Patience Purser (b. abt. 1770). He was born Dec. 1, 1791. The whole family moved to Louisiana in 1816 as James J. Brinson was a preacher/minister and decided to go farther west to carry the gospel. Enoch moved to Texas before August 1824. This information is from the Bienville Parish (LA) History book.
