Hello to all of you on the Brinson list-- I am a newcomer and thought that I would introduce myself to you. My name is Joe (Brinson, of course). I live outside of Charleston, SC in Ridgeville, SC. I was born in Jacksonville, Fl. and grew up in Waycross, Ga. My grandparents moved to Jacksonville from Millen, Ga. during the depression--seeking work. 1. Thomas Brinson - Joyce 2. Joe Ellis Brinson (that's me) I would be interested in learning if the information that I have is correct. And in fleshing out some of my ancestors-- that is, learning more about them and their daily lives. I also know that Adam Mills Brinson served in the 22nd Ga. Infantry during the War Between the States and surrendered at Appomattox Courthouse in 1865.
