A few months ago, I read a message from a former SUTTON list subscriber. She advised her readers not to subscribe to the list because it has "too much traffic." None of it, she said, mentioned *her* ancestors. <grin> On the other hand, I subscribe to surname lists that generate only one or two messages every couple of months. Sometimes, I forget that I am a subscriber. If you're getting "too much traffic" from our growing list of BRINSON subscribers and you would rather receive only about one BRINSON message a day, switch to the BRINSON-Digest mode. You won't miss anything, but the combined messages will be delayed until usually the end of the day. =============== Here's how to change to BRINSON _digest_ mode (several postings are combined and sent as a single large message. (It's like getting a lot of letters delivered in one big envelope.) A few of you are already receive the list in digest form. There are two steps. . . . First, send the command "unsubscribe" to BRINSON-L-request@rootsweb.com to discontinue mail mode.
