Joe - since you are so close to Sylvania, Screven Co, GA, you ought to take a trip down there to the Library and look at the Screven Co History Book. I believe there is some on the Capers family (you have Daniel Capers Brinson) in the book. Millen is so close to Sylvania - and to Wrightsville, where our Brinsons went after Jefferson Co, GA. Our Bryan family (which m into Brinson family) was from Allendale, SC and went to Sylvania, GA before the "War of Northern Aggression". A Bryan son, Lewis Martin L Bryan, married Sarah Asenath Humphreys of Allendale. One of her sisters married into the Bowie Family, which was closely kin to the Capers. If you don't have anything on the Capers, you could find something in Sylvania. Best wishes - Judy
