Hello, everyone. I am seeking information about the following BRINDLEY family. The family name is assumed to be BRINDLEY. Martha BRINDLEY born 16 November 1849, Auckland, New Zealand, daughter of Charles BRINDLEY and Martha KANE. Martha BRINDLEY married Albert Napoleon BUSBY in 1870, in Auckland, New Zealand. She died 8 June 1930 in Auckland, New Zealand. Sarah BRINDLEY born 1852, New Zealand (assumedly Auckland), sister of Martha above. Charles BRINDLEY died 1861, Auckland, New Zealand. Martha KANE died 1848-1858 (No, it did not take her 10 years to die, I believe; the death is indexed as having occurred sometime in that period. It is the NZ BDM index microfiche). The above is virtually all that I have about the BRINDLEY family. Also, on different records (different BDM index microfiche), the family name is variously spelt BRINDLEY, BRINDLY, and BRINLAY. Unfortunately, due to profiteering by the NZ office of BDM, it costs 30NZD per page for photocopies of register entries, so it is too expensive to see what is written in the original register entries, to confirm what was written by the people concerned.
