This was both of their's second marriage. Bernadina's husband from what I can tell was killed in the Civil War. I have a Ben Brinker born appx 1862 in Cincinnati. This family eventually moved to Hamilton, OH. I do not have the exact information in front of me, but if this sounds like the relation you are looking for let me know and I will dig deeper.
